Exploring around Solider Field

My next photo assignment is to photograph a fellow student in my class. I was getting anxious because the only time I have to do this is when the sun will no longer be up. I thought solider field would have some bright lights that I may be able to photograph still following the superior rule. While exploring in preparation for my Wednesday night photo shoot, I decided to snap some pictures. The snow was just beginning to fall. I love Chicago!!

to be young again...

Olivia is obsessed with bathroom... being a "Fun" aunt.. I just let her goooo!! So, what did she do, but play in the toilet water. Don't worry, we washed her hands several times. It was just such a great moment. She kept reaching in and pulling it out. Then she would look at her hands and the water on them. Over and over.... She will be ready to potty train in no time!

Snowy Chicago Night

As I was sitting in my photography lab, the snow started to fell rapidly. What a mess to drive in, but what a pretty site! I drove out of my way on my way home to capture a few snowy photos.

Justin and Nicole

While Justin and Nicole were having an open house, they went with me for a mini photo shoot. Once again, I was working with depth of field. We spent time in Lincoln Square.

Jenny and Taylor

Jenny and Taylor have been dating for 4 years. They are the prefect couple. We wandered around Chicago capturing moments between them. I also was practicing the "depth of field" photo technique. We had a blast!! Enjoy!

Independence Grove

I have finally started taking photography classes at the Chicago Photography Center. I am very excited about this journey. Each week we are given an assignment. This week, my assignment was to take pictures experimenting with changing the aperture. I decided to take photographs in Libertyville. Eventually I made my way to Independence Grove. It is just beautiful there. I couldn't get over the amount of geese!! I always enjoy taking scenic photos.
